This Is Love 2009

Since her husband disappeared from her life 16 years ago, police inspector Maggie has lost all faith in love. She doesn't get along with her daughter and tends to drink too much. Between nightly drinking bouts and hung-over mornings, she stumbles into a new, unusual case when she takes over the interrogation of tight-lipped Chris. Chris, who buys children out of brothels in Vietnam and sell them to "parents" in Germany, has returned with nine-year-old Jenjira. A feeling of mutual trust develops between the traumatized girl and Chris. But now Jenjira has disappeared, and Chris apparently knows more about it than he admits. During the interrogation, both Chris and Maggie recalled their painful past.
